Your questions, answered honestly

How much does Clark School cost?

Tuition at Clark is an investment in a personalized education with a 7.5:1 student-teacher ratio, 100% college acceptance, and 45 years of proven outcomes. Because every family's financial picture is different, we work with each family individually to determine the actual cost.

Does Clark offer financial aid?

+

Yes. Clark School offers need-based financial aid to families across all grade levels, PreK through 12th grade. Aid is awarded based on demonstrated financial need, and the process is entirely confidential.

Financial aid decisions are made independently from admissions decisions. Applying for aid does not affect your child's chance of acceptance in any way.

How do I apply for financial aid?

+

The financial aid process is integrated into the admissions process. Here's what it looks like:

  • Express interest — Let our admissions team know you'd like to be considered for aid
  • Complete the FAST application — An online financial assessment used by independent schools nationwide
  • Receive your package — Our financial aid committee reviews your application and provides a personalized tuition amount

Because Clark has rolling admissions, financial aid is also available on a rolling basis. You don't need to wait for a specific deadline.

Is there a payment plan?

+

Yes. Clark offers flexible payment options to help families manage tuition throughout the year:

  • Annual payment — Pay in full before the school year begins
  • Semester payments — Split tuition into two installments
  • Monthly installments — Spread payments across 10 or 12 months

Our admissions team will walk you through the options and help you choose what works best for your family.

Are there sibling discounts?

+

Clark understands the commitment of enrolling multiple children. Families with more than one child at Clark are encouraged to apply for financial aid, where the overall family financial picture—including the cost of multiple tuitions—is taken into consideration.

Reach out to our admissions team to discuss multi-child enrollment and how we can make it work for your family.

What does tuition include?

+

Clark tuition covers the complete educational experience with no hidden fees. Your tuition includes:

  • All core academics and elective courses
  • Small-group instruction (7.5:1 ratio)
  • Project-based learning materials and supplies
  • Field trips and experiential learning excursions
  • Executive function and study skills programming
  • College counseling and guidance (high school)
  • Access to after-school activities and clubs

There are no surprise fees for textbooks, technology, or standard field trips. What we quote is what you pay.

What if we don't qualify for aid but still have concerns about cost?

+

We hear this a lot, and we take it seriously. Even if a family doesn't qualify for need-based aid, our admissions team is always open to a conversation about how to make Clark work financially.

Payment plans, timing options, and honest guidance about costs are all part of the conversation. We'd rather have a real talk about numbers than lose a great family because they assumed they couldn't afford it.

The value of a Clark education

"We were upfront about our budget from the first conversation, and Clark met us where we were. The financial aid process was private, respectful, and straightforward. Two years in, it's the best investment we've ever made in our son's future."

"Clark gave my son something no other school could: the confidence that he belonged. He went from struggling to read in second grade to getting into his first-choice college. The teachers never gave up on him. Worth every penny."
